Interview @ EL PUNTO ES

Last week I was interviewed by EL PUNTO ES, the online one stop news spot for all things related to Art, Music and Popular Culture withing the Puertorican community in NYC and around the world.

With my upcoming EXPO under a week away and being Puertorican myself, EL PUNTO ES asked me to talk a bit about myself and my upcoming show.

"THE WILL TO STAY UP" (EXPO - NYC)

Ok people its official. I am having my first EXPO in NYC and you are all invited. Myself together with the ever so talented and crazy mind of ASLAN have joined forces to bring you "THE WILL TO STAY UP" a journey of exploration featuring our latest work.

Opening reception: May 31st at 7:30pm. The Show will take place here : 10-17 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City NYC.

Join us as we celebrate our first showing in the NYC art scene. There will be something for everyone to get their hands on... we invite seasoned as well as new art collectors and enthusiasts to come share with us. Hope to see you all there.

EPIC UNO for "THE SCOTTIE WOODS BRAND"

A few weeks back I was approached to develop artwork for "THE SCOTTIE WOODS BRAND". A Brand mainly focused on the sneaker culture and the lifestyle surrounding it.

After discussing the Brands goal and stylistic direction, I set out to create visual icons that best expressed the message of the Brand "Keep Em'Clean". Through the use of custom typography and character development I was able to create a design language that fit the Brands target audience and exceeded client expectations.
