For 3 weeks now i have been slowly but surely painting away and customizing this new longboard i picked up from the guys at
Bustin Boards in Brooklyn. I have taken off the initial transfer tape, re-sketched my drawing straight onto the board and have spraypainted some nice textures and a few hand painted details. Its been a long and tedious process, but i am super happy with the results so far.
Hope you guys enjoy what you see....feel free to drop any comments and stay tuned for the next stage Pt.3 of "
Bustin Loose in Brooklyn"
 |
FIRST STEP IS TO MASK OUT THE SIDEWALK. |
 |
HERE IS THE RESULT OF USING BLACK, GRAY AND WHITE SPRAY PAINT AT VERY LOW PRESSURE |
 |
AND NOW I MASK THE LETTERS TO THEN PAINT THE BRICK BACKGROUND USING SAME TECHNIQUE AS THE SIDEWALK....THIS TIME USING ORANGE, RASBERRY AND A LIGHT SKINTONE COLOR SPRAY PAINT. |
And there we have it. After multiple masks i have achieved the textures i hoped for. Now its time to pull it all together by adding some brick detail and filling in the milkcrate and spray paint cans........
Till next post.....STAY UP!!!
